Formulated Solutions welcomes new vice president of operations
Formulated Solutions has welcomed Will Ford as its new vice president of operations.
Ford is a passionate and innovative leader in the consumer healthcare and consumer packaged goods industries, the company said, with 25 years of experience in operations, world-class continuous improvement programmes, safety, and manufacturing site management.
As vice president of operations, Ford’s core focus will be optimising the performance of the Formulated Solutions compounding and filling value streams.
Before joining Formulated Solutions, Ford served as director of operations for Beiersdorf, Bayer, and Merck in Cleveland, Tennessee, all of which produced a diverse portfolio of over-the-counter brands, including bag-on-valve, aerosol, liquid-semi-solid, solid dose, powder filling, and medical device dosage forms. Ford also previously held leadership positions in operations and quality with Sonoco Products Consumer Packaging Division.
Ford holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Auburn University, an MBA from Troy State University of Montgomery, Black Belt Certification from Merck, and is currently pursuing a project management certification from Wake Forest University.
