Clorox has launched Clorox PURE Allergen Neutralizer, a new line of air and fabric sprays designed to neutralise common household allergens including pollen, dust mite matter and pet dander.
The product range represents Clorox's entry into the air care category and marks an expansion beyond its traditional cleaning portfolio.
Allergens are active protein structures that bond to receptors in the body and cause allergic reactions such as congestion, sneezing and itchy, watery eyes.
Clorox PURE uses a plant-based active ingredient with Aller-Fresh Technology to neutralise allergens by changing the shape of the protein structure, preventing it from bonding to receptors and triggering reactions.
The line includes Clorox PURE Daily Air Spray for use in living spaces and Clorox PURE Fabric & Carpet Spray for soft surfaces including carpets, upholstered furniture, curtains and bedding.
Both products are available in four allergen-free fragrances: Clean Breeze, Ocean Mist, Nighttime Calm and Energising Citrus.
