Chuck Pfister named new CFO of Tekni-Plex
Chuck Pfister has been named the new chief financial officer (CFO) of Tekni-Plex, a global packaging and material solutions firm specialising in the medical, pharmaceutical, personal care, household & industrial, and food & beverage markets, including aerosol products.
Pfister brings over 30 years of executive management experience to the organisation having served in various financial leadership roles at several national and global companies. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Illinois, Champaign in 1987 and became a certified public accountant in 1989.
He mostly served as CFO and senior vice-president of finance at Alphabroder Holdings in Philadelphia. Pfister also held leadership roles at TricorBraun, St Louis; Kohl’s Incorporated, Milwaukee; and The Home Depot, Atlanta.
“Chuck has created programmes that have delivered millions of dollars of savings through process improvement, cost-out initiatives, and procurement strategies for his previous companies,” said Brenda Chamulak, president and CEO of Tekni-Plex.
“He is a proven leader and has led multiple transactions including a highly successful sale of a company to a private equity sponsor. We are excited to welcome Chuck to our organisation and leverage his considerable skillsets, as we continue to evolve our growth strategy.”
