BDF Nivea Brasil targets 22% reverse logistics for spray deodorants
The organisation said the collaboration will support the reverse logistics of 22% of its aerosol deodorants - equivalent to the environmental compensation of approximately 231 tons of packaging.
"Encouraged by our Care Beyond Skin Agenda, we have important global goals, including reducing the carbon footprint and contributing to sustainable human and environmental development," said BDF Nivea Brasil in a statement.
"Therefore, with partnerships like this, we are improving the reverse logistics of our packaging and reducing its effects on nature.
"Led by our Sustainability and Environment Affinity Group, which promotes solutions to accelerate our environmental commitments, we are confident that this is another important step in our journey towards a more sustainable planet!"
