APackaging Group opens integrated Ohio facility

The facility will house end-to-end production including R&D, compounding, formulation, manufacturing (bottle blowing, dispenser and cap manufacturing, and custom moulding), filling and outer-package labelling.
The plant is expected to create 135 new jobs with support from the state of Ohio.
The Ohio expansion addresses supply chain challenges by eliminating the 25% tariff associated with China production and reducing lead times by more than five weeks.
The facility will produce up to 500 million plastic dispensing pumps for the health and beauty industries, utilising high-speed automation and high cavitation moulds.
Located in Harmon Business Park, the plant features a dedicated rail spur to optimise raw material transportation, alongside automated controls, assembly, palletisation and material handling systems designed to create a more sustainable end-to-end supply chain.
"This new facility is a one-stop-shop for all packaging needs from concept to production, and will provide our customers a powerful competitive advantage," said Helga Arminak, CEO and founder of APG.
"Over the past 20 years, APG has developed a reputation for providing customers with a broad range of high-quality products, sustainable solutions, and an unparalleled level of service and responsiveness."
