An in-depth look at French aerosol production volumes

In 2024, the production of aerosol dispensers in France increased by almost 10% (657.91 million units in 2023 vs. 723 million units in 2024).

“I believe that some production came back to France from abroad and that some segments saw sales increase in 2024 vs 2023,” explained Jean.

This growth included the body care and 'other' segments.

The home care segment, on the other hand, is slightly down. Jean noted that, in 2023, this segment increased by 8% taking it to a level above the average of what had been experienced in previous years. Even with a 5% decrease, the home care segment is still high compared to previous years.

This progress in production shows the dynamism of the French industry in a market where consumers are attracted to aerosol dispensers as a safe, easy-to-use, inexpensive and recycled form of packaging, said the CFA.
