Aerosol Service invests in energy efficiency upgrades at Charnowo Plant

The project involves modernisation of infrastructure and the introduction of renewable energy solutions, with support from the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG).
Planned works include the construction of a 498 kWp photovoltaic installation, the installation of heat pumps for process water, the replacement of air compressors with more efficient models and upgrades to the production line aimed at reducing energy use while increasing output.
According to the company, the measures are expected to improve the site’s overall energy efficiency by at least 30 per cent.
The changes are also projected to cut annual carbon dioxide emissions by around 315 tonnes and generate 444.9 MWh of renewable electricity for on-site consumption.
The total cost of the project is PLN 13.89 million (approx. €3.19m), with PLN 4.26 million (approx. €0.98m) co-financed through the European Regional Development Fund under the FENG “Green Credit” scheme.
In addition to the environmental gains, the investment is intended to improve product quality and allow more flexible production processes at the plant.
